Matthias Paul, who is popularly known as Paul van Dyk, is performing at Mia as part of his ‘OF THE RECORD’ 2022 world tour, which commenced in Ibiza on August 4, 2022. After his concert at Mia Tulum, the German trance producer will head to Prague before his SHINE takeover at the epic Printworks in London on October 7, 2022.
Announcing his Mexico tour, the star said: “Mexico has always held a special place in my heart. The people are so welcoming and friendly,” on Instagram. “The energy at the shows is mind-blowing and the food.. ? Can’t wait to be back in September!!”
The Off The Road Mexico Tour begins in Mexico City on September 21 and will conclude in Tulum at Mia Restaurant & Beach Club on September 24.
He dropped his latest single, ‘Rhapsody’, last month with Berlin-based DJ/producers Chris Bekker and Jan Dzialek. Paul has bagged a Best Electronic/Dance Album Grammy nomination for his 2003 album ‘Reflections,’ which also featured Vega4, English singer-songwriter Jan Johnston, and Second Sun, among others.

This icon began his DJ career in 1991 and has become a globally-known name since then. The German DJ has topped the Top 100 DJs poll not once, but twice! He has a Mixmag award among other international accolades under his belt. Paul van Dyk has also remixed for pop stars like Justin Timberlake for ‘What Goes Around… Comes Around’, Britney Spears’ hit ‘Gimme More’, and Madonna’s ‘Revolver’ in 2009.
He founded the record label ‘Vandit Records’ in 1999, which saw his tracks ‘Another Way’ and ‘Avenue’ as its first releases. Paul’s ‘Out There And Back’, ‘Volume: The Best Of Paul Van Dyk’, and ‘In Between’ have even entered the Billboard 200 chart at numbers 192, 115, and 115, respectively, and he has sold over 3 million albums worldwide.
Apart from contributing his remixing talent to pop stars, he has also remixed for ‘The Dark Knight’ soundtrack, written by Hans Zimmer. You will also find the Berlin-based star’s credits on the original soundtrack for EA’s Mirror’s Edge for remixing ‘Still Alive’.

With all these feats, Paul van Dyk has made a great name for himself.
