Dunedin-based event promoters Distorted Promotions continue to vent out good vibes with their Sound series, now presenting Tropical Sounds 3. The summer opener is scheduled for November 11, 2023, at Auckland’s Sweet Shop Brew Kitchen, and final release tickets are now on sale! Get your tickets to Tropical Sounds 3 from The Ticket Fairy!
Tropical Sounds 3 offers an enthralling line-up flared out over three stages. Headliners for the show include the whiz of house, techno, and garage Matty the Friend, Auckland’s DnB chief commander Sammy W and UK garage and grime artist Last Unknown aka L.U.C.A, who finds his way to the showcase as part of a sequence of performances commencing October 21st, 2023.
Auckland-based DnB MC Skunk and MC Mana Ogg are chalked in as co-hosts for the day-long concert. Electronic acts DC & Gazz, duo Glass Avenue, Sutty & Langas, H.O.D, Ken & Jhole, Jam & Fizzy, Baz & Russ, Da Big Cheeze, Mammoth, The Postmen, Trex & Robbo, and Seph & Pork all occupy slots on the artist card. Hitchcrank and Finni, who made their debut in 2020, also return to the lineup after playing at Tropical Sounds 2 at the Backyard Bar.
Tropical Sounds kicks off from 3 PM onwards and wobbles over until midnight at Sweet Shop Brew Kitchen, situated on Sale Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland 1010, and home to homemade beers and comfort cuisine. Early bird, first, second, and third release tickets were wiped out within a flash.
