With its “deep, tribal grooves and energetic rhythms” paired with the sensational lights and the wild, immersive energy of PENDULUM, Steve Lawler will headline the show at Vagalume Tulum on Friday, May 16, 2025, with Jesse Zotti also on the artist card. The Birmingham-born DJ/producer has pushed the boundaries of electronic music with his underground sound. In addition to his PENDULUM shows, he is renowned for his appearances at Soundtuary Miami, Creamfields, Parklife, and Ultra, and more. Having had releases on esteemed labels like Adam Beyer’s techno label Drumcode, Cocoon Recordings founded by Sven Väth, and R&S, Steve Lawler launched his label, VIVa MUSIC, in 2006.
Jesse Zotti will return with a sizzling set next week in Vagalume, after having accompanied Lawler for the PENDULUM show in Tulum the last time around. “I’m very humbled and honoured that Steve asked me to be a part of his new @pendulum__events. This is a new residency which will be showcased at @vagalume_tulum in tulum for months to come. I know Steve is incredibly excited about this, im super excited about this & YOU should be too!! Unveiled in October 2022, the first PENDULUM show took place in Miami in November. Lawler then took PENDULUM to Buenos Aires and Toronto, and also announced a residency in Tulum in November 2023. “So happy to announce PENDULUM will now also be in Tulum once a month at the Incredible VAGALUME! Doing things my own way, carving my own path is something I have done throughout my career, and now is no different,” wrote the British house music producer on Instagram.
“Wanting to cut down my touring but still craft my journey of music to an audience week in week out, this is how I do it, playing the music I want in the fashion I want to play it with long sets. Come to any PENDULUM and you will see the special vibe we’re creating in magical cities around the world on a monthly basis!”
