Music and audio streaming platform SoundCloud recently announced its most-streamed female electronic music artist for 2025 – Jazzy! The Dublin-born artist, who is currently on her US & Canada Gewah Selects tour, has had an illustrious career. From ‘Make Me Feel Good’ – a collaborative track with Belters Only which reached the top position in Ireland, to becoming the first woman to reach number one on the Irish singles chart and now having an eight-date residency at the sought-after Pacha Ibiza with Sonny Fodera, and gracing festival stages like Tomorrowland main stage, Glastonbury, and more, there is no stopping Jazzy!
“Hand on heart, these last three years have been the wildest ride. I try not to dwell on it all too much because I think I’d spiral, but achievements like this make my head spin for sure. I feel so loved and so lucky – thank you SoundCloud for the support, and to my team of course. What an honour!” Jazzy said in a statement with Music Week.
The Irish DJ, singer and songwriter also received a BRIT Awards 2025 Song of the Year nod for ‘Somedays,’ a track she worked on with Sonny Fodera and D.O.D. She has had shows in NYC, Toronto, Miami, and hit the road across cities in Europe and the UK, performing at Belfast’s AVA Festival, Brunch Electronik Berlin, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, and Creamfields in the UK, and going B2B with KILIMANJARO at Portola Music Festival before embarking on a six-date North American tour. Jazzy, the stage name of Yasmine Byrne, also has shows lined up in the UK starting in the next few weeks, running until January 2026.
“Since being named one of our Ascending artists in 2023, the consistency of her hit releases and fan engagement has only amplified that growth. Including collaborative tracks, Jazzy is now the most listened to female electronic artist worldwide on SoundCloud in 2025,” the senior label relations UK at SoundCloud, Denys Wilcox, shared with Music Week. “It’s a perfect example of how prioritising community-building can lead to sustained global success.”
Jazzy’s twelve-track ‘GEWAH Selects’ released on October 3 includes ‘Hypnotic’ from Jazzy and ‘Moth To A Flame’ with Luuk Van Dijk.
