ADE Welcomes 600,000 Visitors In 2025; Sets Record Attendance

2025 was a big year for the Amsterdam Dance Event, welcoming a whopping 600,000 electronic music enthusiasts at its latest edition held in the Dutch capital. The five days and nights saw the biggest names in dance music – from producers, DJs, artists, executives, and experts who have contributed to EDM on stage and behind the scenes – impart valuable knowledge, showcase their skills, and connect with audiences and share insights.
Amsterdam Dance Event also invited more than 3400 artists, making this the biggest line-up they’ve ever curated. More than 300 venues were decked up to host over 1200 events at the latest edition of ADE. Dance music stalwarts Black Coffee, Pete Tong, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren, Ben Böhmer, Richie Hawtin, and Carl Craig headed to Amsterdam to be a part of the monumental event this year. ADE also opened its doors to stars like Sara Landry, Hardwell, Indira Paganotto, Mau P, John Summit, Interplanetary Criminal, Helena Hauff, and Amelie Lens.
It even saw Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir take charge of a 15th-century church, De Nieuwe Kerk, on Dam Square near the Royal Palace. The stunning Opening Specials at ADE 2025 were held at the iconic Van Gogh Museum, Felix Meritis, DOOR OPEN SPACE, Zuiderkerk, Melkweg, and ARTIS Planetarium.
About 500,000 people flocked to ADE in 2024, with this year seeing 100,000 more revelers in attendance this year. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Amsterdam Dance Event, penciled in to take place from October 21 to 25 in 2026.
