Nostalgia Festival 2026 Promises a Full Day of Tunes and Talent

New Zealand’s vintage-themed music celebration, Nostalgia Festival, returns for its 2026 edition on February 7, 2026.

Lodged within the charming 1900s replica township of Ferrymead Heritage Park, the festival rounds up a remarkable mélange of Kiwi favorites and rising talents for a full summer day celebration of community and music.

Headlining the multi-genre spectacle are the indie rock favorites Balu Brigada, electro-rock icon and multi-instrumentalist Ladyhawke, genre-bending sensation Troy Kingi, country-soul maestro Tami Neilson, neo-soul/jazz powerhouse Hollie Smith, and alternative-pop standout Harper Finn.

From Christchurch arrive the garage rock crew Lunar Intruder, dance-pop/soul act LOVETA, five-piece indie-folk-pop outfit Play For Keeps, country pop singer-songwriter Steffany Beck, hard-rock gang Stonehurst (Unplugged Session), folk singer Minnie Robberds, and indie/alternative musician Candice Milner.

Also from Christchurch, nurturers of emerging talent, RDU FM, will host their 50th anniversary showcase, marking five decades of supporting local promoters, artists, and gigs and events. RDU staples Missy G, Flux One & Tha Natural, Mike T B2B Dream. R, John Ussher & Dan Veitch, DJ Livity, Martin Jay, and DJ Nacoa will come together for a truly memorable celebration.

For 2026, the creative team at Nostalgia Festival will roll out an exciting new segment, the ‘Future Nostalgia Stage,’ built to provide up-and-coming artists a platform to perform and connect with a festival crowd. Artists to keep an eye out for under this banner include The Hazy’s, Equilibrium, The Spoons, Vertigo, Purely Pink, C.O.M.A., Jess Erasmus, Blue Bin, Low Mow, and Wired.
