DJ Snake Provides Update After Calling Off India Tour

French DJ/producer and sculptor of the ‘Magenta Riddim,’ DJ Snake, has pulled out of a six-city tour across India due to health reasons.
Initially, the multi-platinum artist was scheduled to return after a three-year gap for a six-city blowout between September and October 2025, presented by festival stalwarts Sunburn. A later announcement from the promoters moved the dates to February 2026, citing “production and logistical challenges.”
Sadly, his fans across India will miss out yet again on his hip-shaking rhythms and ‘Taki Taki’ energy after the beatmaker shared an update about his ongoing health issues. On social media, DJ Snake revealed that he’s “been battling a health issue for a while” and “it’s finally caught up” with him.
After consulting his doctor, the record producer was advised to undergo surgery in February of this year, noting, “It’s something I can’t push or delay anymore, and I’ll need a month to fully rest and recover after that.”
“This means cancelling all my shows, including the India tour, and that decision has been incredibly hard. But I need to get back to 100%, and this is the only way. Thank you for your love & understanding. I’ll be back soon, stronger than before,” he added.
Support poured in immediately from fans and the global dance music community. Tiesto, Aoki, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Alesso, Alok, Sebastian Ingrosso, R3HAB, plus notable Indian singers Nora Fatehi and Armaan Malik, were among many sending love, words of support, and well wishes.
Regarding future appearances, William Grigahcine, aka DJ Snake, later clarified via Instagram stories that his performances after February remain on track following his recovery. This places him at Ultra Festival editions in Miami (March 27-29), Melbourne (April 11), and Gold Coast (April 12).
For now, it remains to be seen if DJ Snake will set foot on Indian soil anytime soon.
