Tape B Heads to Auckland During New Zealand Mini Tour

Famed for roping in some of the most skilled international talents and curating powerful line-ups for showcases in Auckland, United now brings an unmissable night of electronic music with Tape B! The Istanbul-born, Florida-raised bass music producer will unleash a blend of old-school dubstep, modern bass, and hip-hop with doses of nostalgia blasting out of the top-tier booming sound system at Neck of the Woods on March 14, 2026. Some of the finest Auckland-based acts, including Edenna, Shanzy, Kusanic, and Innusta, join the roster as supporting acts. Currently, the artist is getting ready for a co-headlining amphitheater tour with Chicago-based electronic music trio Levity across the US. After his Australia and New Zealand tour, he has a gig in San Diego and will be taking the Red Rocks stage for two nights of Hallow Rocks. Thanks to his unique sound that blends nostalgic old-school dubstep with contemporary bass, resulting in an infectious sound known as “Old School x New School,” Tape B’s music lets audiences live in the present while also walking down memory lane.

Now, partygoers in Auckland can experience this sought-after curation at Tape B’s show next weekend. 

NZ-based DJ/producer Shanzy, who supported PhaseOne and beastboi earlier this year, and Auckland’s INNUSTA will be on support duties for Tape B on March 14. Versatile artist Kusanic is also on the artist card to lay down drum & bass, dubstep and 140. Auckland-based DJ EDENNA, offering hard-hitting trap, dubstep and bass, rounds out the line-up for the night.

Ahead of the event, we spoke with Kusanic, who gave us a glimpse of what his set will be like. He said, “My set for the Tape B show is going to be everything you’d expect from a 140 set from me. A curated showcase of some of my favourite dubstep and 140 tracks, fused with groovy garage rhythms, but keeping everything heavy.”

“Expect deep bass, heavy drops, dark atmospheres and tight rolling grooves that lock you in straight away. We’ll be kicking the door down from the get go, keeping the dancefloor humming and pushing the energy forward the whole time. It’s all about amped vibes, low end bass and driving dancefloor momentum, the kind of set that leaves people wanting more,” he added.

I’m super grateful to be part of this show and to be sharing the night with such a stacked local lineup. Words honestly can’t express that enough, mad love to the whole crew,” stated Kusanic, sharing his gratitude. 

Reflecting on the growth of dubstep and 140 in Auckland and New Zealand at large, he said: “The dubstep and 140 scene in Auckland and New Zealand is growing at an exceptional rate right now and it’s awesome to see a new wave of people really getting around it. The energy is strong and the sound is always evolving. Honestly, dubstep is so back!”
