Eko Roosevelt to Become Oldest Performer at Tomorrowland Belgium

The Afro funk and Afro disco icon will be taking over the Melodia Stage at the 2026 edition of the festival.

Eko Roosevelt is set to play a live set at Tomorrowland Belgium next month. The festival has been penciled in from July 17 – 19, 2026, to July 24 – 26, 2026, with performances from David Guetta, Timmy Trumpet, Calvin Harris, HAAi B2B The Blessed Madonna, Sara Landry, Andromedik, and more. Roosevelt will be performing at the festival on the first day of the second weekend – July 24, 2026.

With this live set, the veteran musician, who is in his late 70s, will make history as the oldest performer at Tomorrowland Belgium, as per the organizers, reports DJ Mag. Earlier this year, fourteen-year-old Elfigo became the youngest act to grace the Tomorrowland Winter stage. This Belgium-born producer made his Tomorrowland Belgium debut in 2023 at age twelve. 

Eko Roosevelt’s career in music as a solo artist began in the 1970s. Over the years, the funky disco sound touched the hearts of many and went on to become an influence for some of the most renowned names in dance music today. 2020 even saw the English electronic music duo Disclosure sample his track ‘Tondoho Mba’ on their song ‘Tondo,’ appearing on the deluxe edition of their third studio album ‘Energy.’

This is an unmissable opportunity for EDM fans to witness the Cameroonian musician who tastefully blends makossa with funk and disco for earth-shattering sets. Also, a Chief of his community, La Lobé, Eko Roosevelt will be stepping onto the Tomorrowland Belgium podium for a special live set after his last appearance at Nyege Nyege Festival in Uganda nearly four years ago.
