Stablemates Monrroe, Duskee, and duo GLXY slot in on February 14 in Wanaka, New Zealand, with local artists on support duties. Clashing with Valentine’s Day, February 14 sees the Shogun Audio birthday party roll into the buzzing Water Bar in Wanaka, South Island, New Zealand. Kicking off from 8 PM onwards, this showcase also spotlights the upcoming drum & bass trio SUUNE, known for their deep, dark, and techy sounds. If their sets from the recent Rhythm and Vines and Northern Bass festivals are anything to go by, this is sure to be a wicked one!
Also stitched into the card is LI.NA, a force in the 140 & DnB space. LI.NA has steadily left a mark on the Kiwi dance music scene, plastering their name alongside the likes of Sam Binga and Skepsis.
Jonathan Campbell and Thomas Alston of GLXY have billed this tour as their “biggest tour to date” on social media and arrive after successfully completing their first-ever tour of the United States in late 2024. Attendees can look forward to a fully furnished MC/DnB experience from Monrroe & Duskee, as witnessed in their truly impeccable session from Shogun Sessions at Corsica Studios, London.
Joined by truckloads of local electronic artists piping in on support duties, Monrroe, Duskee, and GLXY head on Shogun Audio’s three-month-long excursion. The first stop of the jaunt sees the trio hit Brisbane on January 31, followed by a run of shows in Australia and on Kiwi shores before heading to Asia for three concerts.
The label published a ‘20 Years of Shogun Audio‘ LP to mark its 20th anniversary. This album includes ten remixed classics that have shaped their path as well as 10 brand-new tracks from the most promising up-and-coming artists in the industry. This tracklist features works from Pola & Bryson, Flowdan, GLXY & Sustance, Monrroe & Emily Makis, Subwave, Javeon, and more.
