French techno artist Technasia hops back to Mexico to scatter about his distinctive outpourings of techno pulsations this June, with venues in Mexico City and Tulum on his radar. Initially formed as a duo all the way back in 1996 and currently spearheaded by musician and DJ Charles Siegling, Technasia is poised to rework the soundscape at two of the most prominent nightlife venues in Mexico – Bonbonniere in Tulum and LooLoo Studio in Mexico City. The producer docks at Bonbonniere Tulum on Friday, June 20, as part of the venue’s long weekend run of shows starting Thursday, which also houses electronic artists Buhoo, Bastian Bux, Collé, Leonardo, and Cuevas. The following day, Technasia rolls on to nightlife hotspot LooLoo Studio on Saturday, June 21.
Joining Technasia on warm-up duties at LooLoo Studio is DJ/producer, promoter, and co-founder of WOMXN Records, Adriana Roma, who dabbles in the techno, tech-house, house, and indie dance space.
Roma described LooLoo as “one of my favorite venues to play in town,” on social media, and arrives on the back of her latest drop ‘Pumping House.’
Technasia is known to cream his sessions with techno, deep minimal, French tech, house, minimal techno, and tech house vibrations, while simultaneously blending old-school electronic music with a medley of cross-country musical themes owing to performances the world over. His live performances typically combine conventional cutting and scratching techniques over a multi-console setup.
