Dive into the Maoli experience as the acclaimed country reggae music outfit travels to Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe, New Zealand, on January 24, 2025. Maoli kicks off the multi-national ‘Last Sip of the Summer Tour‘ this month, traveling to cities in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and Canada. This tour currently has dates listed until August 2025 and in store are a few surprise acts and guest performers along the way. The band will stop by Pukekohe for the opening gig of their ‘Last Sip of the Summer Tour 2025,’ marking their presence at the multi-purpose venue Navigation Homes Stadium after initially being penciled in to perform at Due Drop Events Centre. Now occupying a larger capacity venue, the show is also open to all ages, and tickets are available in the adult and under-18 categories. Announced as a special guest is music producer and occasional collaborator Fiji, along with JKING, Lomez Brown, Johnny Suite, Wayno, trio Stndrd, and Revus.
Fronted by musician Glenn Awong with bassist Kana Akiu-Corpuz and guitarist Nuu Kahalehau, Maoli’s compositions weld elements of country, R&B, soul, rock ‘n’ roll, and reggae music to etch out timeless pieces. Since banding together in 2007, Maoli has racked up multiple accolades, including Group of the Year and Album of the Year for their 2019 ten-track record ‘Sense Of Purpose’ at the iHeart’s Island Awards in 2020.
Their music catalog also contains collaborative outings with country pop singer Brett Young, vocalist Fiji (‘We Open’), Kiwi-born reggae artist Jamey Ferguson (‘Shoot Down’), and country singer Payton Sullivan (‘Dancing Away With My Heart’), to name a few. Following their takeover of the 10,000+ capacity Navigation Homes Stadium, Maoli will headline the One Love Festival in Tauranga.
