Formula 1 returns to Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands for the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, headlined by global dance music superstar Martin Garrix.
After returning to Circuit Zandvoort in 2021, Formula 1 will bid farewell to the Dutch Grand Prix next year and will mark its 40th and final race on the 4.259 km motorsport race track. The gripping event will see a headlining set from none other than the Dutch DJ/producer Martijn Gerard Garritsen, best known by his stage name Martin Garrix, who will take it to the next level with his high-energy set.
Martin Garrix took the world by storm when he released his 2013 track ‘Animals,’ and there has been no turning back since. The Amstelveen-born DJ/producer has headlined some of the biggest festivals on the planet, including Tomorrowland, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, and Creamfields. “The energy of the Dutch Grand Prix is incredible. As a huge F1 fan, it feels truly special to close this chapter and celebrate with fans from all over the world in the Netherlands. I’ve attended Zandvoort multiple times, and the energy from the crowd is unmatched,” says Martin Garrix.
With tours and concerts all over the world, tunes racking up millions and billions of streams, his name is etched into the dance music realm as one of the top-tier artists. “The Dutch Grand Prix is about much more than racing alone; it’s a total experience. With Martin Garrix, we add an unparalleled musical spectacle,” said Jan Lammers, sporting director of the Dutch Grand Prix, in a statement. “He’s not only one of the world’s biggest artists, but also an icon representing the Netherlands on the global stage. Just like Max Verstappen does in Formula 1.”
This year, the Dutch Grand Prix took place from August 29 – 31, with Oscar Piastri winning the race, Max Verstappen finishing second, and Isack Hadjar bagging his third-place trophy on his first-ever F1 podium. The last Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled to be held from August 21 – 23, 2026.
