BADBOX Remixes Camelphat’s ‘Bugged Out’

Having risen through London’s underground radio scene, he’s now a global phenomenon, headlining legendary venues like Hï Ibiza and Phi Beach Sardinia. Known for his fusion of Cypriot heritage and African-inspired beats, his journey intersects with Black Coffee’s rise, with BADBOX hosting Coffee’s legendary Apple Beats show. His releases on renowned labels such as Armada, MoBlack, Kazukuta and Deep Root Tribe have solidified his place in the electronic music landscape as he continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Kick-starting the New Year in prolific fashion, London-based DJ and record producer BADBOX – also known as Mario Cee – now unveils his high-energy official remix of CamelPhat & Audio Bullys’ iconic single, ‘Bugged Out.’ The electrifying remix is part of an impressive four-track remix package released on Steve Lawler’s eViVE Records, which features further reimagined versions from FNX Omar, Aaron Sevilla and Jim Rider.

Speaking on the remix, BADBOX shared: “The original track has such an infectious energy—it was an honor to put my spin on it. I wanted to respect what CamelPhat and Audio Bullys created while introducing some of the Afro House vibes that I’ve been enjoying making recently. Originally released in 2018 via VIVa MUSiC, ‘Bugged Out’ was a defining collaboration that seamlessly blended CamelPhat’s polished house sound with Audio Bullys’ raw, vocal-driven energy. Out now, BADBOX’s brand new take for 2025 injects a fresh wave of electronic influences, showcasing his mastery of intricate rhythms and mesmerizing grooves while maintaining the hypnotic essence of the original.
