Bali’s Hatch Uluwatu is set to dispatch a debut indie-dance/dark disco showcase in Glitz & Grime with performer Disko Misfitz on February 21, 2025. After dishing out the likes of Degs, Camo & Krooked, and VITESS in recent months and also expanding on all things electronic from Afro-house to drum & bass within its Bohemian-meets-jungle structure, the Hatch Uluwatu team now put together Glitz & Grime display. Launching at 5 PM onwards on February 21, the DJ booths will deliciously lay out indie dance, dark disco and electro, and house pulsations. Glitz & Grime volume one will celebrate the release of Disko Misfitz’s debut track titled ‘The Glitz,’ serving up a double dose with the Glitz & Grime’s inception and Disko Misfitz’s first performance.
Snippets from Disko Mitfitz’s impending release shared so far present a groovy dance beat at the crossroads of house, disco, and dance music. The visuals also reveal the new artist sporting a silver suit and motorbike helmet decorated to resemble a shiny disco ball.
Support duties are to be chaired by seasoned DJ/producer and Love International Label Founder RaySoo, known for his sessions that swing out minimal, disco, house, and techno beats laced with influences from his various jaunts across the globe. In his long career thus far, he has had his name plastered alongside the likes of the legendary Carl Cox, progressive house great John Digweed, veteran Sven Vath, Danny Howells, electronic/trance artist James Holden, and techno musician Stacey Pullen. RaySoo is also a popular figure at music festivals across Asia.
