The forthcoming inaugural Sunflower Garden Festival promises an immersive exploration where music, wellness, nature, and spirituality converge. Stationed at a stunning sunflower plantation – Campbell’s Cross Farm on August 23 in Ontario, Canada, this 12-hour festival experience celebrates music, wellness, and art, underlined by an alcohol-free setting, a first at a music festival in Toronto. Sunflower Garden Festival’s daylong agenda shapes up with interactive wellness and art activations, live music, wellness programs, and a vendor market area booming with ceramic works, clothing, oils, gems, stone bracelets, Reiki sessions, and more. The health and mindfulness schedule is packed with yoga, sound healing, breathwork, cacao ceremonies, and many more wellness-related workshops.
Additionally, the venue will also host a VIP zone, a kids’ play zone, an art zone, a sacred fire setup, food and drink stalls with a carefully curated botanical bar, and integration areas to let you relax and unwind. The concert stage is completely absorbed in a stunning sunflower field in full bloom and will spotlight and celebrate female talent as a priority. The performances include a medley of live musical acts to open the festivities and push into electronic sessions during the rest of the day.
Unpacking the roster, the promoters welcome electronic music producer Sofia Kourtesis, who combines deep house and techno components in her sessions. DJ/producer Mia Moretti arrives with deep, funky, and classic elements of house music. Festival founder and performer, vocalist, songwriter, and sound healer LUCIANA completes the line-up of all-female headliners.
Singer-songwriter and ukulele player Desirée Dawson, DJ/producer Carmelinda, Afro/Latin house act Kill Them With Colour, disco and tech house savant VIDERI, R&B and soul artist Maria-Therese, and kirtan collective Manta Jae round out the artist card.
Over at the health and wellness camp, the activators and practitioners enlisted include Dane Osorio (Breathwork), Audra Santa (soulful workshop + live music), Raja (drum circle), Carmelinda (yoga), Katherine Hanley (sensory experience), Kat Blessings (cacao ceremony), Bold & Centered (sacred fire), Lady Ruby (harp sound healing), Indi (kundalini and hatha yoga), Lauren (sound healing), Vladi (elemental freeze dance), and many more.
The Sunflower Garden festival has a twofold mission statement, listed as follows:
