Alok’s NYE Performance Becomes Part of a Guinness World Record Show

Alok’s year started off with a bang at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Rio de Janeiro.

Alok’s year started off with a bang at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian DJ/producer was among the artists scheduled to perform at the Copacabana Réveillon, one of the biggest NYE celebrations in the world. Alok played a one-hour mind-bending set for the attendees bidding farewell to 2025 and ringing in the new year with music, dancing, and joy. The celebration also saw Brazilian singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil and Brazilian singer-songwriter and dancer IZA showcase their skills.

As the clock struck twelve and the new year commenced, 1200 drones headed to the sky to put on a show for viewers. Moreover, nineteen barrages were employed for a twelve-minute fireworks display that lit up the sky to welcome the new year. This event is reported to have been attended by a whopping 2.5 million people, with Guinness World Records certifying it as the world’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration, as per EDM.com.

With his DJ set at this party in Rio de Janeiro, Alok has become a part of a historic and record-breaking event. Alok is among the biggest stars from Brazil, taking his sound to the world from Tomorrowland Brasil to EDC Orlando, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and places all over Dubai, India, Oman, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, New York, and China.
