The Medellin-based label’s thirty-two-track compilation will provide humanitarian aid to Colombia, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to those affected.

Donations, aid, and appeals poured in to raise funds for urgent healthcare, relief and long-term recovery after a devastating earthquake struck Colombia, which resulted in hundreds of deaths and left thousands injured. Now, Mammboh Rhythms Records has followed suit to help the people of Colombia in this trying time.

Known for specializing in “Andean & Folkloric Techno,” Mammboh Rhythms Records has brought together more than thirty artists for the compilation. The record’s co-founders, Sons Of Hidden and Serge André, open the compilation with their track ‘Quetzal.’ Scottish techno heavyweight Frazi.er, OBSCURE SHAPE, Paris-based techno DJ/producer Hemka, Dissonance collective co-founder Ponky, Italian DJ/producer Deluka have contributed cuts to ‘UNITED FOR COLOMBIA’ alongside Berlin-based DJ/producer Lars Huismann, Uruguay’s William Arist, London-based techno DJ/producer and OUT OF CTRL label boss ALNA, Medellin’s DJ/producer Red Noise, and Milena Adamis from Buenos Aires.

The death toll has risen to 310 since the earthquake hit parts of western Colombia on August 10, with 426 people reported missing. This disaster has left 4,400 people injured, while 26,500 homes have been destroyed and 1,631 educational institutions have been destroyed. As rescue operations continue, the debris is being cleared; the focus is now on providing food, water, health, and shelter to those displaced and affected.

“In times like these, we believe that music can become a bridge between people. For this reason, we are bringing together artists from different parts of the world for a special compilation created with one simple purpose: to stand with Colombia and help those who need it most,” Mammboh Rhythms Records wrote on Instagram.

“Every artist involved is contributing their music to this cause, and all proceeds from the compilation will be donated to verified foundations and organizations providing direct humanitarian support to the affected communities. This is not about where we come from, what we play or which scene we belong to. It is about coming together when it matters.”
