Stay Golden Unveils Debut Album ‘Silent Covenant’ on All Day I Dream

The Bali-based producer makes his debut on the iconic label with a seven-track release that introduces a fresh, funk-infused indie dance sound to the All Day I Dream universe.

The storytelling-driven house music of Bali-based producer Stay Golden enters a new chapter with the release of his debut album, ‘Silent Covenant,’ on British dance music legend Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream imprint. A producer, DJ and founder of the TOTEM Society event series, Stay Golden has taken an unconventional path into electronic music, moving from a successful career running an AR/VR multimedia business to creating deeply atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes rooted in what he describes as “intergalactic storytelling.”

Across the seven tracks of his debut album, Stay Golden explores the invisible, shared connections that shape our lives that can exist without ever needing to be spoken. At the same time, the album marks a bold statement for the artist and an exciting new direction for one of electronic music’s most legendary labels.

After discovering All Day I Dream at a 2016 party in Moscow, Stay Golden has built an unconventional path from running an AR/VR multimedia business to becoming a producer, DJ and founder of TOTEM Society. His background in immersive technology and visual storytelling now shapes his atmospheric music and events, with regular appearances at Burning Man.

‘Silent Covenant’ brings that immersive vision to his debut album, opening with four Stay Golden originals before expanding into collaborations with Alexey Union, Broken Hill, Kinky Sound, Ünam and Anticalm. For All Day I Dream, the album further expands the label’s emotional, melancholic take on house and techno, continuing the musical universe built by Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay over more than a decade.

Each track is another step in the same journey, moving through melodic textures, captivating rhythms, infectious grooves and moments of deeper introspection. While rooted in the emotional sensibility that defines All Day I Dream, ‘Silent Covenant’ brings something distinctly different to the label: a more funk-infused, groove-oriented indie dance sound with a stronger emphasis on rhythm and movement.

Stay Golden enters that world with a sound of his own, one that retains the emotion, atmosphere and sense of escape at the heart of All Day I Dream, while opening the door to a more groove-led, funky and indie-dance-driven future.
