Sub Focus to Donate £1 for Every Ticket to Support Grassroots Music

The English DnB powerhouse becomes the first DJ to donate £1 from every ticket sold from his arena shows scheduled for next year to the UK grassroots live music scene.
Sub Focus’ Circular Sound arrives in the UK for two major headline shows next year. The first concert will be held at The O2 Arena in London on March 26, 2027, followed by a show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on March 27, 2027. He has announced that £1 (USD 1.35) from every ticket sold to these events will go to the LIVE Trust as per Save Our Scene UK. The organization called Sub Focus an “absolute legend.”
“Funds raised will go to the @livetrustcharity which supports programmes like @livelinefund which help to keep the UK grassroots scene alive,” shared Save Our Scene UK via a post on Instagram. A massive thank you to @subfocus @louderevents & @worshipartists for working with us in making this historic move happen!”
“Grassroots venues and promoters are where I learned my craft, built the foundations of my career, and they are an incubator for future stars of our industry. I want to give my full support to what Save Our Scene are doing to make sure these venues stay alive and kicking!” said Sub Focus in a statement according to Mixmag.
Over the years, the UK has seen the closure of many grassroots music venues. Mounting financial pressure has led to an independent venue closing its doors every fortnight in 2024, and more than 80% of independent artists were not able to tour last year, as per a survey of 1,500 artists. A £1 ticket levy on stadium and arena shows with a capacity of 5,000 and more was introduced in 2025 to support grassroots music venues, artists, managers and promoters during this difficult time, when the grassroots music scene and touring are collapsing.

Save Our Scene have my full support in the action they are taking to help reverse this trend of venues closing.”
Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, iconic indie rock outfit Florence + The Machine, Harry Styles, American rock band My Chemical Romance, Lorde and Coldplay are among the LIVE Trust Contributors.
