Mixmag Caribbean Sessions ventures into Vagalume, Tulum, Mexico, for a five-show residency scheduled across the opening two months of 2026. January 11 comes alive with a 12-hour journey through Afro, deep and melodic house conjured by a crew of top-tier selectors. Doors open at 1 PM and the party runs deep into the starry night. Tickets to Mixmag Caribbean Sessions in Tulum are available now via Ticket Fairy.

Staying true to Mixmag Caribbean Sessions’ themes of blending regional rhythms with global sounds, the party jump-starts with Swedish producer Julia Sandstorm, LA-based duo Kimonos, music production duo Blank, the legendary Omar Labastida, house music savant from Spain MARCEL BS, local hotshot Mario Eighta, plus an unannounced surprise guest ready to set the tone at Vagalume.

Swedish producer Julia Sandstorm arrives in Mexico on the back of rocking the stage with Jan Blomqvist and Lee Burridge at Sweden’s What A View festival. Her sessions pack a fiery fusion of tribal, Latin, and melodic house, while also layering in soulful vocals and light sprinkles of rock ‘n’ roll and classic R&B.

Kimonos, consisting of Gabriel Falanga and Omri Malka, continue their hot streak into 2026, hitting some of the world’s most sought-after dance destinations. Returning to Vagalume, they are set to deliver their eclectic brand of house music in full force. In Mexico, Kimonos have left their mark at Majahuitas, LooLoo Studio, Bonbonniere, Zaza Yacht & Beach Club, Vesica Cenote Club, Mia Tulum, and Agustín Melgar Olympic Velodrome for Incendia 2024.

Mario Eighta emits a slapping mix of progressive house and melodic tech house magic. Support from the likes of Anyma, Solomun, Argy, Mind Against, 8Kays, and a handful more reflects his growing influence. For a taste of his signature mixing style, check out his most recent house revamp of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘By The Way,’ available on SoundCloud.

Pioneer of Mexico’s underground scene, Omar Labastida moves dancefloors with tech house, deep house, and tribal grooves. Currently the head of Downtown Tulum Radio and Riviera Underground, he boasts over 25 years in electronic music and played a vital role in Mexico’s biggest electronic music festival, BPM Festival. He’s shared the bill with heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Nina Kravitz, and more.

DJ and producer MARCEL BS and the dynamic duo Blank round out the line-up, rolling out a fresh wave of house music and crafting an innovative soundscape for Mixmag’s new chapter in Tulum.

Mixmag Caribbean Sessions continues at Vagalume through February 2026, with the energy flowing every Sunday.
