PinkPantheress Is Set to Make Her Acting Debut

The British singer-songwriter and producer will be working with the Oscar-winning director duo The Daniels for her first-ever film.

Following hits like ‘Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2’ and ‘Illegal,’ PinkPantheress is onto a new adventure! According to Deadline, the 25-year-old will be making her acting debut in a film releasing in November 2027. It will be directed by The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), who took home the Academy Award for Best Director in 2023 for the film ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once, ‘ which also won six other awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. 

Victoria Walker aka PinkPantheress will be featured in the unnamed film alongside ‘The Odyssey’ star Matt Damon, Sandra Oh (‘Killing Eve’), Charles Melton (‘May December’) and Jackson Kelly (‘The Pitt’), among others. The details of this Universal film are yet to be revealed. 

The Bath-born singer-songwriter and producer rose to prominence after her unique tracks blending genres like UKG, R&B, house and drum & bass went viral on TikTok. Soon, her music started gaining millions of plays over digital streaming platforms, with two of her tracks surpassing a billion streams and three making it to the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Mercury Prize nominee also went on to earn Grammy nominations for Best Dance Pop Recording for ‘Illegal’ and Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘Fancy That.’

As part of her remix album ‘Fancy Some More?’ PinkPantheress collaborated with the ‘Midnight Sun’ hitmaker Zara Larsson for the track ‘Stateside,’ which reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and skyrocketed to the top spot on the Billboard Global 200, securing her first-ever Billboard Global 200 No. 1 song.
