ENEI to Stop By Boston on December 12

Massachusetts-based DnB aficionados elements welcomes Russian drum & bass producer Enei to their weekly Thursday shindig at Phoenix Landing in Cambridge on December 12, 2024. Tickets to Enei’s show in Cambridge are now available on Ticket Fairy.

Drum & bass, jungle, footwork, and leftfield bass-pierced community elements heave yet another tantalizing showcase this month, headlined by DJ/producer and Critical frontman Enei, who makes an appearance in Boston after almost a decade.

Hailing from St. Petersburg in Russia, Alexey Egorchenkov aka Enei launched his music project back in 2003. Enei’s DnB mix ‘Parallel’ was signed to Dutch label Fokuz in 2007, subsequently earning his first official release with the label.

Enei’s prowess behind the deck saw him take home the ‘Best Newcomer Producer’ honor at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards in 2011. The following year Enei dropped his much-loved debut album ‘Machines,’ and his music gained favor from the likes of Goldie, London Elektricity, Bailey, DJ Hype, Andy C, and Kasra, to name a few. His most recent musical endeavor ‘Drilla/Sinister Life‘ was released on November 8 via Critical Music, with the seasoned producer teaming with upcoming artist EN:VY on two sublime DnB soundtracks.

Boston-based producer and percussionist MRPH, who whips out the bongos during his performance, slots in as the supporting act. MRPH arrives on the back of releasing a two-track drum & bass EP in October – ‘Never See You / Story About A Crow‘ via Soundz Organic, Boston.

Elements’ weekly DnB sessions at the multi-purpose venue Phoenix Landing go over two decades now, owing to their “dope music, good vibes, good peeps, cheap drinks, and a friendly staff,” as mentioned on the elements website.
