Nightlife visionaries SET Underground and culture curators Tierra De Los Muertos team up to present ‘Noche de Brujas,’ a Halloween (or literally “Night of the Witches”) to remember, anchored by Grammy-nominated Mexican electronic rock outfit Kinky.
Billed as a vibrant event where the festive spirit of Halloween comes alive, the celebration blends eerie energy with musical flair drawn from the band’s signature mix of rock, funk, and electronic dance music seasoned with Latin influences.
This one-night spectacle unfolds on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the opulent Grupo Parthenon venue in Oaxaca, Mexico. Tickets to Noche de Brujas by Tierra de los Muertos and SET Underground are available on Ticket Fairy.
Since their formation in 1998, the five-piece band has continued to evolve, twisting electronic rock with regional sounds of cumbia, Latin pop, and Música Mexicana.
The Latin alternative group ferries their energetic rave sessions to Oaxaca as part of the Kinky Los Bailes de Otoño tour, a run of shows that has already ignited crowds in Tijuana, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Saltillo. Attendees can look forward to swaying, stomping, and grooving to fan favorites like ‘Hasta Quemarnos,’ ‘Soun Tha Mi Primer Amor,’ ‘Mas,’ and ‘Fuentes de Ortiz’ from Kinky’s genre-blurring discography.
Their most recent EP, ‘5 Disparos,’ (2024) pays homage to Mexican music by reworking both classics and more recent tunes. The tracklist includes revamped versions of Rocío Dúrcal and Juan Gabriel’s ‘Déjame Vivir’, ‘El Paso Del Gigante’ from Grupo Soñador, the 2018 ballad ‘Fuentes de Ortiz’ by Ed Maverick, and a fresh take on ‘Unx100to’ originally composed by Grupo Frontera and Bad Bunny.
“Oaxaca, on October 31st we’ll see you to dance until you come alive,” the group posted to social media, hyping their upcoming performance.
This Halloween awakening kicks off at 8:00 PM, with early birds treated to a two-for-one offer on beverages until 9:00 PM. Yet-to-be revealed local talent will set the mood with deep rhythms and buzzing festive vigor.
