Boris Way Unleashes Glitzy Tech-House Banger, ‘Uber on Call’

French DJ and producer Boris Way docks at Ultra Records once again with his spicy new tech-house firecracker, ‘Uber On Call.’

“I can’t remember the last time I felt this level of excitement about a release. ‘Uber on Call’ feels incredibly special to me — it really captures the new direction I’m heading in as an artist,” Boris enthusiastically voiced via press note.

It was not too long ago that dance music disciple Boris Way left us wanting more after dropping ‘I Will Wait‘ (featuring singer-songwriter Jaimes) via Ultra Records. A series of studio sessions later, the genre-fluid artist is at it once again, freeing a brand new single that delivers yet another effervescent, genre-fluid cut.

Throbbing at 128 BPM, Boris encases the track around sultry and glitzy vocal samples and assembles this mix to deliver prime-time energy across dance arenas the world over. You’ll find Boris reaching into various specks of his sonic palette on this outing, interjecting lively electro rattles, plumpy bass action, spikes of tech-house, and chunks of melodic techno.

Upon its release, the dance/electro banger stood at number 13 on 1001 Tracklist’s Trending Chart, and it received early support from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Korolova, ALOK, Nicole Moudaber, Lucas & Steve, Don Diablo, Agents of Time, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, and more.

Boris also spoke about his vision behind ‘Uber On Call’ and shared, “Playing live DJ sets has always been the heart of what I do, and I wanted to create a track that not only hits hard during peak time in my sets but also resonates across the DJ community. Sitting somewhere between tech-house and melodic techno, the concept for ‘Uber on Call’ was to pair a sassy spoken-word topline with a hard-hitting instrumental.
