Kiwi crew Hit Touring, the force behind the arrivals of Flowdan, Children of Zeus, Iam Tongi, and Kiana Ledé in New Zealand, now swirls out UK rapper Sainté! Touted as “one of UK rap’s brightest prospects” by media outlet COMPLEX UK, Zimbabwe-born and Leicester-raised hip-hop artist Gashirai Gondo, best known as Sainté, makes his maiden voyage to Australia and Aotearoa, punching in his well-received fourteen-track ‘Still Local’ album released in March of this year. This tour sees Sainté parade through seven concerts in two weeks, beginning in Wellington, before heading onto Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. The ‘Champagne Shots’ fame takes charge of Auckland’s live events nucleus, Studio The Venue, bringing the house down on September 7.
Sainté dropped his debut single ‘Envy Me’ in 2019 and has since gone on to etch his name into UK rap/hip-hop lore, adding a bevy of stellar music releases to his ledger. In his career so far, he has released two albums (‘Out The Blue‘ and ‘Still Local‘); earning more than two million monthly Spotify listeners and over 80,000 subscribers on YouTube. His most recent rap offering ‘Margiela‘ sees Sainté effortlessly spit bars over an ambient/chill flow soundscape.
