DJ/producer &ME of German electronic music record label Keinemusik is locked in for a two-city tour of India, with dates in Mumbai and Bengaluru on the cards.
Prominent nightlife experience curators Team Innovation and Spacebound tie in to present deep house and techno music savant André Boadu, thriving under &ME, on his maiden visit to India. &ME is slated to delight EDM fans and reshape dance arenas with his magnetic concoction of house and techno. He relays in Mumbai on March 22 at Mahalaxmi Race Course before darting to Bengaluru for a concert at NICE grounds on March 23.
Keinemusik, meaning “no music,” harbors Berlin-based DJs, producers, and artists – Rampa, &ME, Adam Port, and Reznik. Built on a strong foundation of percussive tribal influences and lush melodies, Keinemusik’s techno-house productions and DJ sets have been said to “champion infectious positivity” since their formation in 2009.
In recent times they have staged performances with the Giza Pyramids in Egypt in the background, smashed the mainstage of Tomorrowland, headlined a ten-hour showcase in Madrid, and also graced the famous immersive dome-shaped arena, Sphere in Las Vegas (Rampa). &ME makes his first appearance in India on the back of two shows at Zamna Tulum and a solitary visit to Orquideorama Jardín Botánico in Colombia.
Those attending the shows in India should note &Me cited American DJ and producer Carl Craig as one of his DJing influences. The artist disclosed to fashion and media brand Highsnobiety, “I was super hooked on Carl Craig because of how the arrangements were and the super-long songs that were still super energetic.”
