DJ/producer duo Anghel & Prayon have released an atmosphere-swerving Afro house spectacle furnished with the prowess of Oluwadamvic and Young Dotun.
Deliciously wrapped in an Afro-house, Afrobeat, and Afro-fusion tapestry is the latest single from Anghel & Prayon titled ‘Bawayo’ and released via Mozambique-based label My Other Side of the Moon.
‘Bawayo’ or ‘Celebrate with Us’ was crafted when producer Prayon worked the piano for a while and connected a few lively chords. Pouring a few more beats into the mix, Prayon dispatched this concoction to sound engineer-songwriter Oluwadamvic, who, along with Prayon, developed a spirited and soulful Afro-house blend.
The resulting final mix sees the foursome drop a soul-stirring melody, gripped with fierce danceable energy, timely electro swatches, and delicate key relays. Oluwadamvic and Young Dotun’s passionate crooning against the pulsating beat not only enhances but also enriches this hypnotic Afro-house rhythm.
‘Bawayo’ follows up Anghel & Prayon’s prior releases, ‘IDI OPE’ and ‘Koleye.’
