The upcoming fourth edition of The Homie Collective Campout promises a revolving door of wonderful experiences, including live music, artworks, installations, a variety of vendors, and more! Now stationed at a new venue, 508 International, Charlton, Massachusetts, the four-day event begins on Thursday, August 21, and runs until the end of the weekend. The campout is an entirely artist-led, grassroots festival curated by friends or homies who actively partake in the music scene as performers, producers, vendors, and more. Tickets to The Homie Collective Campout 2025 are brought to you by Ticket Fairy.
Since its inception in 2019, The Homie Collective Campout has earned a reputation for its multi-genre appeal twined with an immersive, welcoming, and safe environment. Some of the activities planned include interactive installations, engaging workshops (flow, wellness, art), glass blowing, flow performers, daily costume contests, live muralists, craft and food vendors, live music, stand-up comedy, and much more.
On the live music end, The Homie Collective Campout will set up four stages, each stacked with a different genre, so attendees can enjoy their fill from a pool of soundscapes. Producer Bella Renee, psychedelic dub anchor Ott, rock/prog-tronic trio lespecial, reggae and roots-rock outfit Roots of Creation, jam band Spafford, and electronic music act Yheti all occupy slots on the card. Producer Riot Ten arrives as a special guest, and the line-up is sealed with over 50 talented artists, producers, DJs and bands.
Founder Bryan Shields spoke about the line-up to Electric Hawk, “This year, we want to include DnB and a more house-centric stage to really draw in a whole new crowd of people. We want to keep the lineup more general so there’s a little something for everyone.”
In terms of sustainability, the promoters have partnered with eco-warriors Sustainable Sounds to ensure that all food and beverage vendors are stocked with compostable, recyclable, and disposable items. Also organized is an incentivized Trash Dash, where attendees can fill up garbage bags in exchange for fun prizes.
We spoke with reggae-rock powerhouse Reggaelar People about their performance at the impending Homie Collective Campout, where they made their festival debut during the last edition. “We’re bringing that same high-energy, reggae-rock fusion—but with a tighter sound, new material, and an even deeper love for the stage,” the group said about their upcoming set. “Our live shows are always equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. You’ll get pulsing grooves, relatable lyrics, gritty NYC flavor, and we hope you ultimately leave feeling like family.”
Coming to perform yet again at the place that set off Reggaelar People, their return marks a pivotal point in their career. They revealed, “THCC was the first festival we ever played. Last year lit a fire in us—it showed us what it means to connect with people in nature, with music echoing through the trees. Being welcomed back for a second year feels like a stamp of approval and a chance to go even harder. We can’t wait to show you how we’ve metamorphosed.”
Scott Bernier, bassist-vocalist of the solarpunk reggae outfit Solgyres, also chipped in prior to their appearance at The Homie Collective Campout 2025. “We’re stoked to be part of The Homie Collective Campout this year, and look forward to vibing with the homies in nature, surrounded by artists who inspire us and people who are ready to connect. Being part of that energy is why we make music,” he said.
Bernier added, “Our upcoming set will be a wave of punk reggae and psychedelic rock grooves, designed to get people moving while stirring something deeper. Expect a journey, from the raw and high-energy to the slow-burning and meditative, woven together with rhythms that feel both ancient and electric.”
DJ, producer, and sonic visionary Krystal Klarity spoke with us fresh off his North/East Coast Road to Lost Lands Tour. The multi-talented artist said, “It means a lot to be on this lineup alongside phenomenal artists like Bawldy, Chmura, Esseks, and MVRDA. Massive shoutout to all the organizers and promoters for making this happen—everyone involved is genuinely great people. And of course, a huge thank you to my manager and team. It wouldn’t be the same without them.”
John Baylies from Sousastep called playing at the Homie Collective Campout “an honor.” The tuba player and audio technician informed us, “My upcoming performance at the Homie Collective Campout will be a solo live set with no playback, where I strap an Xbox controller to the side of my sousaphone and use it as an effects controller and drum machine via a custom rig I’ve built using software called MaxMSP.”
