DJ Kimeraa has uploaded his take on a mobile DJ set, staged atop a BEST bus cruising through Mumbai titled ‘Is It Just Another.…’
This nearly 45-minute-long undertaking sees Pratham Mehra, best known as Kimeraa, donning a bus conductor’s uniform, complete with a metal name badge, as he takes his music on a late-night tour through Mumbai.
Whether waddling through Mumbai’s bustling traffic, captivating audiences along the seaside promenade, or cruising across the windy Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link bridge, Kimeraa and his traveling crew have certainly expanded the horizons of where a traveling DJ session can happen.
Kimeraa fires up the session with a mix of unreleased tracks and freshly drafted edits. The electronic artist gives some airtime to his May 2025 Hindi-laced drum & bass banger ‘Kya’ and earlier release ‘Theme Music’ (a collab with Yashraj). There’s also a standout moment featuring Samad Khan, whose vocals on ‘Lehere Everywhere’ come in just as the bus rolls across the iconic Sea Link.
In a nice throwback to the music video era of TV channels, the name of each track appears at the bottom of the screen as it’s being rinsed.

Kimeraa disclosed on social media that the idea for this set came to him roughly about six months ago; however, a subtle hint of it can even be found in a gig poster from 2023. It features Kimeraa alongside Yashraj and Lost Stories (Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi), pictured standing in front of Mumbai’s BEST bus.
“What kind of a set do I want to play when given an opportunity to be myself? But it couldn’t be just ANOTHER DJ SET,” Kimeraa explained. “As much as I love to DJ, find tunes from all over the world, and be creative with them, something wasn’t adding up.”
Kimeraa joins a growing wave of artists redefining where a DJ set can happen. His traveling DJ booth video is steadily approaching 2,000 views on YouTube and mirrors the recent Kid Local’s sessions with DJs Purva Surana, aka Jewel, and KIBO aboard an AC bus in Surat, Gujarat.
