The first phase of the line-up unveils some of dance music’s biggest stars, set to converge on the Island of the Gods for Indonesia’s premier electronic music celebration.
The grand scale of the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) has always been nothing short of spectacular, cementing its status as one of Asia’s leading dance music festivals. Over the years, it has consistently raised the bar with thrilling line-ups featuring global superstars, groundbreaking live acts, and genre-spanning selectors that cater to every corner of the electronic spectrum. This December, Bali’s tropical allure takes center stage once again as the Djakarta Warehouse Project makes its highly anticipated comeback to the legendary GWK Cultural Park.
At the heart of this year’s return is a massive Phase One line-up featuring some of the most iconic and exciting names in electronic music. Calvin Harris returns to the DWP stage for the first time in six years, bringing his record-breaking catalog of dancefloor anthems and chart-dominating hits, while Charlotte de Witte – the reigning queen of techno – makes her DWP debut with a commanding set fresh off the release of her first full-length album.
FISHER, back by overwhelming demand, delivers his only Southeast Asia performance of 2025 with a set that promises high-octane tech-house chaos, and French tastemaker HUGEL brings his global Latin house energy to DWP for the first time, following the explosive success of ‘Morenita’ and ‘Adore You.’
Genre-defying GRAMMY winner Skrillex returns with a set that blends underground grit, legacy sounds and modern experimentation, and rounding off the phase one line-up is Steve Angello, founding member of Swedish House Mafia, who steps into the spotlight solo to showcase his signature progressive style and timeless influence.
Joining these headliners is a dynamic mix of international and regional talent: A rare DubVision B2B Matisse & Sadko B2B Third Party set – the first-ever triple back-to-back in Indonesia, uniting three powerhouses of progressive house.
Slovakian trance leader Nifra brings her mainstage-ready fusion of trance, rave and techno. Japanese underground visionary ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, known for his fearless, genre-defying sets at Hör Berlin, Berghain and beyond, and trance legend Paul van Dyk, Breakout melodic talent Cyril, fresh from a global viral run and a new single with James Blunt.
Indonesia’s own Dipha Barus and Whisnu Santika, two trailblazers who continue to elevate Southeast Asia’s homegrown scene. More artists will be announced in the coming months.
Paired with state-of-the-art stage design, jaw-dropping production setups, and immersive audiovisual experiences, Djakarta Warehouse Project has created a larger-than-life atmosphere that leaves an indelible mark on everyone who attends. It is this unique combination of music, production, and energy that has made DWP Indonesia’s go-to celebration of dance music culture, drawing fans from across the region and beyond to experience its unmatched intensity year after year.
The venue, GWK Cultural Park, stands as one of the most breathtaking backdrops for a festival anywhere in the world, nestled beneath the majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue and framed by towering limestone cliffs with sweeping views of the ocean. It is a space where nature, culture, and spirituality intertwine, transforming into a living sanctuary where music, art, and community thrive together. With #DWP2025, festivalgoers can expect an edition that goes beyond the traditional dance floor experience, a journey of sound, connection, and paradise under the Bali sky.
Extending the festival beyond the main event, DWP Bali Music Week offers a full week of programming, including beachside pre-parties, wellness sessions, curated takeovers and cultural excursions. Balancing renewal with inspiration, the week fuses Bali’s cultural roots with its global creative force.
