Spanish hip-hop grabs the spotlight in Torreon on September 26 as two mainstays of Mexican rap, Gera MX and Alemán, bring the Rich Mafia tour to town! Rich Mafia explodes onto the stage with raw street energy, hard-hitting lyrics, and a fearless attitude – lighting up the 10,000+ capacity Centro de Convenciones in Torreon, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico. Conjured by Tres Zero Tres in collaboration with heads of the local independent music scene, this hip-hop and rap showcase is set to see scores of fans converge over an onslaught of relentless beats, raw passion, and sheer street culture. Kicking off at 7 PM, the night promises a collaboration at the heart of Spanish-language hip-hop’s evolution, wrapped in top-tier production, loads of guest appearances, immaculate sound, and a chant-along chorus.
Fans have every reason to be excited. After the duo’s electric performance at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City in March 2025, Mexican media outlet El Lado B praised the show, stating, “From classics to new anthems, every rhyme got Rich Mafia vibrating, who sang and jumped non-stop.”
Furthermore, music magazine Indie Rocks revealed that across the nearly four hours of non-stop music, attendees were taken on an extensive journey through the duo’s joint catalog and solo hits.
Alemán heads to Centro de Convenciones on the heels of a strong run of releases this year, including his album ‘De Vuelta a las Andadas,’ and standout singles like ‘J Wow’ (featuring Benjirow and Lefty Gunplay), Eyes On Me’ (with Cachirula and Kidd Voodoo), and ‘Rayo McQueen’ (alongside singer Belinda).
Not to be left behind, Gera MX is having a standout year too, having composed the hard-hitting single ‘Gringo Hunter’ for the Netflix action-drama series “Los Gringo Hunters,” and dropping his introspective eight-track EP titled ‘Las Que Escribí y Nunca Saqué’ in June 2025.
