France’s iconic beach festival, Les Plages Électroniques, has revealed its first batch of artists ahead of its approaching 20th anniversary celebration.
Set against the seaside backdrop of Cannes, Les Plages Électroniques returns to the Palais des Festivals for three sun-soaked days packed with sand, sea, and booming electronic sounds.
France’s biggest beach party cranks the energy even higher for its August 2026 edition, marking two decades of electronic moments by the Mediterranean Sea. Kicking off Friday, August 7, the festivities stretch across three days, with a day-by-day lineup now coming into view.
Day one lands with a bang as Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix headlines day one, armed with crowd favorites ‘Animals,’ ‘Scared to Be Lonely,’ and ‘In the Name of Love.’ Industrial techno heavyweight Nico Moreno joins the bill alongside Swiss visionary Mosimann, known for crafting ‘Dream Tracks’ on the fly.
Momentum builds on August 8, with Grammy nominee Marshmello leading the charge, alongside techno force Amelie Lens, who shares the stage with French rap favorite PLK. The grill skull mask-sporting button pusher of trap sounds and hip-hop, Vladimir Cauchemar, also shuffles into this mix. Festival regular DJ Snake notches up yet another appearance on familiar sands, this time backed by his Pardon My French collective to raise the tempo on day three.
Roughly 60,000 attendees are expected to flood the beach, with organizers also teasing surprise appearances, upgraded productions, and revamped stages. Full line-up details are yet to be unveiled, though fans and attendees can count on a roster worthy of a 20th anniversary milestone.
Past editions have welcomed the likes of Tiësto, Peggy Gou, Charlotte de Witte, Eric Prydz, Boris Brejcha, Kaytranada, Armin van Buuren, Tale Of Us, and The Blessed Madonna, setting a high bar for the 2026 showcase.
