With the growth of dance music and EDM culture around the world, many cities have begun hosting DJs, producers and electronic music acts for concerts, gigs, and music festivals. Amidst this, coveted music festivals and celebrated international event brands are expanding their world-class productions and bringing the party to newer markets for audiences to be a part of the celebration of dance music. We look at some music festivals and international party brands that will be setting out for events in new locations this year!
EXIT Festival
Last year, EXIT Festival announced that it would embark on a global tour in 2026. For twenty-five years, the multi-genre music festival took place in Novi Sad, Serbia, with a final edition taking place at the epic Petrovaradin Fortress in 2025. The festival will now be heading to a bunch of countries to take it to the next level. EXIT begins this new adventure in Croatia in May. The next stops are Macedonia in June, Malta in August and Egypt in October. November will be special for EXIT, as they have two events planned for the month: an India debut in November as well as a return to Serbia for another party.
“For 25 years, EXIT has been a symbol of freedom, love, and unity. After the most remarkable year in our history, that spirit rises to a new level – in 2026, the world becomes our stage with the EXIT Global Tour,” the festival wrote on Instagram.
EXIT added: “Born from a dream of change and a belief in the power of music, EXIT now carries that spark across the planet, spreading messages of freedom, connection, and joy wherever the music takes us! Join us as we write a new chapter of this journey, one that connects continents, hearts, and generations through the universal language of music.” The dates, venues, and line-up are yet to be revealed.
EDC
After hosting mega-music gatherings in Mexico City, Phuket, and Orlando, EDC is adding another country to the list. The electronic music festival titan took to Instagram to announce a new edition in Colombia, saying: “¡Nos vemos en Medellín! We’ve danced all around the world together, and now we’re bringing the magic of EDC to a brand-new destination… Medellín, Colombia!”
“Medellín is a city full of vibrant culture, endless creativity, and electric energy. Its spirit is fueled by a unique blend of history, transformation, art, and passion. This makes it a truly special stop on our EDC World Party Tour and the perfect place to create unforgettable memories Under the Electric Sky,” the festival wrote.
EDC Colombia is scheduled for October 2026, but the date for the inaugural event is yet to be announced. This brand-new EDC event will be held at Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot, a sports complex in Medellín, Colombia. Electric Daisy Carnival has a strong influence and has also had events in countries like Brazil, Japan, India, South Korea, Puerto Rico, and the UK.
Ultra Music Festival
Ultra Music Festival is another electronic music festival that has produced large-scale EDM events in different countries. Ultra has brought its single-day Road to Ultra parties to many countries, including Taiwan, India, Puerto Rico, and more, and countries like South Africa and Japan have seen multi-day festivals too. Now, Ultra will be on its way to New Zealand for its debut edition, penciled in for April 10, 2026. Big names like DJ Snake, Miss Monique, Zedd, Nico Moreno, and The Chainsmokers will be performing at the first-ever Ultra New Zealand. Oliver Heldens, Darren Styles, and MaRLo are also on the bill.
Circoloco
Ibiza’s iconic electronic music party brand is all set to make its India debut in 2026. Circoloco will be bringing their explosive house and techno sets to Jio World Garden in Mumbai on April 19. The line-up and further details are yet to be announced. Famed for bringing the party to the globe, the next stop is Melbourne and Madrid before their India debut in Mumbai.
Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland is undoubtedly one of the most popular EDM festivals on the planet, with people from over 200 countries flocking to Belgium for the mega-music event each year. The electronic music festival giant’s flagship event takes place in Boom, it hosts Tomorrowland Brasil and Tomorrowland Winter and also headed to China for its very first indoor event last year. Tomorrowland has now shared that it will be venturing into Thailand for a three-day blast, welcoming more than 50,000 ravers. Mark your calendars for the inaugural edition of Tomorrowland Thailand in December 2026. This new adventure will unfold at the Wisdom Valley from December 11 to 13 in Pattaya.
