The stunning Mayan Monkey on Isla Mujeres, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, is set to host Somnia Lost in Dreams once again to blend music with nature on March 14, 2026. With Midnight Generation spearheading the festivities, this event has been meticulously curated for a memorable, multi-sensory experience. Fresh off their Audiotree Live performance, Midnight Generation will be leading the bill for Lost in Dreams’ return to Mayan Monkey Isla Mujeres this month. The disco electronic pop band have enticed audiences with their electronic funk sound and taken charge of some of the hottest festival stages, including Festival Vaivén, Outside Lands in San Francisco, Latitude Festival (England), Electric Forest in Michigan, Austin City Limits, and Lollapalooza Paris, Lollapalooza Berlin as well as its flagship event in Chicago. The Mexico-based band has opened for and supported American DJ/producer singer-songwriter ZHU and French electronic music duo Polo & Pan.
2026, too, has major appearances in the pipeline for Midnight Generation as they are on the line-up for the Governor’s Ball in New York City, Lightning in a Bottle, Bonnaroo, California’s BottleRock Napa Valley festival, and Viva El Gonzo 2026 in Mexico. They’ve already showcased their talents and made attendees move themselves in Mexico City, Leon, and Guadalajara. After their Mayan Monkey Isla Mujeres headlining set, they are booked and busy for Tecate Pal Norte, Electric Forest, the 2026 Main Square Festival in France, and Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival.
James Ponette, a DJ/producer and musician from Belgium, is on the artist card for the evening alongside HROOF and Grupo Anderson’s resident DJ Galnares. The party starts at 4 PM and wraps up at 11:30 PM. A yet-to-be-announced house DJ will get behind the deck from 4 to 5 PM.
