Italian dance music architect Hypaton teamed up with British singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu on his latest release, ‘Slide,’ to whip up a feel-good summer scorcher.
“I was feeling this emotion floating around me, and then it was all about grabbing it and putting it into the track,” Hypaton explained via a press note.
A protégé of David Guetta, Giorgio Ortenzi, best known as Hypaton, delves into the exhilarating twists and turns of love on this new outing. Mixing magnetic house piano grooves, ripping bass kicks, menacing synths, and playful tropical beats, Hypaton shapes the arrangement into a euphoric dance-pop experience.
Coated into the mix are bright and lush-sounding vocals from Grammy-nominated artist Izzy Bizu, delivering a shimmering topline and capturing each lyric with undeniable passion and flair.
Hypaton further stated, “This track lives through its atmosphere. Some songs have wild melodies or flashy elements, but ‘Slide’ is more like a trip through emotions. I love making fun, upbeat tracks, but I also enjoy creating these emotional, almost ethereal moments with plenty of space.”
‘Slide’ was released alongside a music video, featuring Hypaton pushing buttons in Norway’s Hammerfest region. It cuts between picturesque snow-clad scenes, Hypaton on deck, and a Pirate Husky sled team towing a sleigh through the ice.
