Finnish EDM lynchpin Darude has locked arms with Australian electronic rock duo Mashd N Kutcher to sculpt out a hooky electro house anthem titled ‘Hype.’
On the back of nearly punching the roof off at EDC Las Vegas, ‘Sandstorm’ architect Darude and hotshot Aussie pair Mashd N Kutcher whip out a full-throttle medley of rave madness with their new collaboration ‘Hype.’
Released on May 22, 2026, via Darude’s artist-first Vibing Out record label, ‘Hype’ was already making the rounds during Darude’s STORM 25 World Tour, along with Mashd N Kutcher’s recent live appearances.
Opening moments of ‘Hype’ lean into a tension-soaked sequence before diving into Darude’s coat of sturdy drums, upbeat house piano keys, and progressive grooves. Mashd N Kutcher’s distinctive multi-genre approach explodes with electro shards, throbbing beats, flashy synths, and a roaring pulse.
“After meeting Darude on tour in Australia, he sent me over some stems to work on. I really wanted to make a record that was something ‘HYPE’ for both of our shows, safe to say this is what we have!” expressed Mashd N Kutcher via a press note.
Meanwhile, Darude exclaimed about the release, “I hope listeners let go of any negativity and feel energized by the music. Let’s come together to dance and get hyped!
‘Hype’ also arrives in tandem with Darude’s HYPE Tour 2026, which stomps through cities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
