Shipwrecked Music & Arts Festival 2025 ⚓ 7th - 9th February

Shipwrecked is a boutique music & arts festival brought to you with love. Nestled between three lakes in an idyllic landscape, not far from the hum of Auckland, the festival site at Te Arai has been lovingly curated over the years to transform into a spectacular playground. A special place for us to gather together, free to be ourselves, let our imagination and creativity wild, to celebrate life through music, art, dance, community and connection. Top tier international and local music, art, performance, workshops, sound and lighting.

We believe in the power of community — Shipwrecked was created to bring people together and facilitate spaces where every soul feels comfortable revealing their true self. This is a community where you can get creative with your own look, be yourself and find your people, feel free to express yourself through art — whether that's on stage or in a crowd of friends.

⚓️ Tickets

This year all ticket tiers are available at once. This allows you to choose your level of support. We thank you for choosing Super Supporter and higher tier tickets if you can. Your support by buying tickets early is invaluable in setting Shipwrecked on the right tack for 2025 and allows others who are less flush access to the lower tier tickets.

Full Weekend Tickets: Early Bird, General Admission Tier 1-3, Super Supporter Tier 1-2 - Full weekend pass, tent camping included. Access to camp site from 8am on Friday. Access to festival site from 12pm.

Super Supporter - Support the ongoing evolution and life of Shipwrecked with a high level of support and investment in the festival site, event and community that come together to create the magic of Shipwrecked. Comes with a voucher to our merch store, so you can wear some cool Shipwrecked art.

Saturday & Sunday Ticket - 2 Day Pass for Saturday and Sunday, tent camping incuded. Access to camp site and festival site from 8am on Saturday.

Sunday Day Ticket - 1 Day Pass for Sunday. Access to car park and festival site from 8am on Sunday. No access to the camp site. 

Booking Fees - Ticket Fairy have reduced their booking fees in support of our community.

Referal System - Share your link to buy tickets with your crew. Each friend that purchases a ticket through your link gives you a discount on your ticket, and brings more awesome humans in to share the Shipwrecked experience!

⚓️ Vehicle Passes

Our vehicle pass system allows us to use the available camping space as best as possible while accomodating our sailers needs and allowing everyone to fit comfortably. Please read the description carefully BEFORE buying tickets.

For every vehicle on site you will need to purchase a Vehicle Pass.
You will find vehicle passes under add-ons, once you've selected your ticket..
If you are not sleeping in your vehicle, please purchase a Vehicle Parking Pass.
Vehicle Passes are limited. Plan ahead and ensure you purchase the correct add-on with your initial ticket purchase.
Please ride-share with friends or join our Facebook group Shipwrecked NZ community hub to offer or find a lift with fellow sailors.

Vehicle Parking Pass - up to 6 meters length and 3m wide. Your vehicle is allowed ONLY in the car park. Your car won't be allowed entry to the campsite. You will park your car in the car park and walk to the campsite. Camping is not permitted in the car park. Feel free to bring a trolley for transporting your goods.

Small Vehicle Camping Pass - up to 6 meters length and 3m wide. The vehicle will have entry to the campsite in the allocated small vehicle camping area. Vehicles are not allowed to be moved after being parked up. If you're giving a lift to someone sleeping in a tent, they can camp next to you. Please note: you can only pitch 1 tent per vehicle.

Large Vehicle Camping Pass - between 6-15 meters length and 3m wide. The vehicle will have entry to the campsite in the allocated large vehicle camping area. Vehicles are not allowed to be moved after being parked up. If you're giving a lift to someone sleeping in a tent, they will need to camp in the allocated camping area due to limited space between vehicles.

Vehicle and Caravan Combo Pass - up to 15 meters total length and 3m wide. The tow vehicle and caravan (or trailer) will have entry to the campsite in the allocated caravan camping area. Caravans have to stay with the tow vehicle. Tow vehicles and caravans are not allowed to be moved after being parked up. If you're giving a lift to someone sleeping in a tent, they will need to camp in the allocated camping area due to limited space between vehicles.

Oversize Vehicles - If you wish to bring a vehicle with or without caravan that is larger than 15 meters combined please send an email to [email protected] for further support. We reserve the right to refuse entry for vehicles that are larger than 15 meters and have not contacted support.

⚓️ Kids Passes

You're welcome to bring your kids. You can find underage passes under add-ons, once you've selected your ticket. Please note: Underage passes are limited. If you bring your kids, you will need to care for them at all times and you will have full responsibility. To ensure they are looked after at all times, you can only purchase up to 2 underage add-ons per adult ticket. Minors (under 18s) cannot enter the festival site or campsite without a parent or legal guardian over 30 years old.

⚓️ Payment Plan & After Pay

You can buy ticket(s) with After Pay or with the 15-week payment plan.

This way you can easily pay of your ticket in 4 installments or weekly for 15 weeks. You'll find these options on the last page of the purchase process. When using these options, please make sure you read the terms on the payment page before purchasing your ticket(s). Please note: you won't be able to purchase add-ons after the initial purchase until the ticket is paid in full. Make sure you select your required add-on with the inital ticket purchase.

⚓️ Resale

If you can't make it anyore and want to resell your ticket and / or add-on, you can offer it to the Ticket Fairy waiting list or you can sell it via the Ticket Fairy direct re-sale. You can find both options in your Ticket Fairy account under "my tickets". Add-ons can be sold combined with a ticket or separately. 
You can advertise your ticket in our Shipwrecked NZ community hub group on facebook but please ONLY use the Ticket Fairy resale system to transfer your ticket.

To all ticket buyers: If you want to help out a fellow sailer, sign up to the waiting list to purchase a resale ticket. Who knows, you might strike gold and get a cheaper price!

⚓️ Weather

Shipwrecked is an outdoor all weather event. Please pack your camping equipment accordingly. Bring Shade, Water bottles, solar showers, battery banks, rain jackets, warm clothes, extra socks and everything you may need for all weather kinds. 

⚓️ Event Postponement

The Greatest Show on Earth NZ / Shipwrecked Festival reserves the right to schedule postponement dates in case of lockdown, any pandemic-related government restrictions, or for any other reason that is classed as Force Majeure. Tickets will be valid on future postponement dates. Note: Refunds will not be offered in the case of any date changes meaning a person cannot attend the festival.
