SilverLakes enforces strict bag policies (especially at concerts) to ensure safety. Allowed: small clear plastic bags up to 16"x16"x8", small purses/clutches, cell phones with battery packs, keys, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and sealed personal hygiene items. You may also bring a compact folding chair (no taller than 35″) or a blanket, hand-held camera devices under 6″ (GoPro-style) (silverlakespark.com), earplugs, and an umbrella-style flag. Medications (with ID) and strollers (for infants) are fine.
Prohibited: Any backpack or large bag (larger than 16x16x8), external food or beverage (including water bottles) (silverlakespark.com), coolers, ice chests, and similar items. Professional cameras or video gear (detachable lenses, tripods, etc.) are not allowed (silverlakespark.com). Also banned are drones and fireworks. Glass or aluminum containers, large towels or banners blocking views, and anything else that might endanger others or disrupt the event (like wagons, hoverboards or skateboards) are forbidden. If visiting for a horse event, remember horseshoes and metal equipment should stay in your car or truck bed – your personal horse gear should be unloaded at the barn. Basically, pack minimal personal items and leave valuables at home.
