Director Sam Hargrave and actor Chris Hemsworth return in an action-packed Netflix original sequel, Harrison Ford reprises the role of the archaeology professor he first played in 1981, Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios producer yet another animated comedy-drama.
The small screen saw a new series from Marvel Studios starring Samuel L. Jackson, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Martin Freeman, ‘The Walking Dead’ spin-off series, an Apple TV+ thriller series which sees a seven-hour journey flight KA29 flying from Dubai to London gets hijacked, among other releases.

Extraction 2
Chris Hemsworth leaps back into the role of Tyler Rake, a mercenary and former Australian Special Agent, in this action-packed thriller. Extraction 2 picks up nine months after the events of the first movie, wherein Rake has been commissioned with another dangerous assignment. The task this time has a far more personal connection to Tyler. As in the first film, Extraction 2 has a captivating twenty-one-minute high-octane one-shot take, and as the film is produced by the Russo Brothers, you can find some nods to Hemsworth’s other onscreen character Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Elemental
Flock to Element City, a dwelling where fire, water, earth, and air live and work in their respective towns and do not mix. The fire family relocates to Element City and establishes the Fireplace, a grocery store. Ember, the spirited and rebellious daughter in the family does not wish to be controlled, instead of running the store would like to choose a life of her own. Ember comes in contact with Wade, a water element who shows her a different side to life.

The Boogeyman
Famed horror and science fiction novel author Stephen King gets another one of his works adapted, this time it is a short story from 1973, The Boogeyman. This supernatural horror film is centered around the Harper family as they struggle to come to terms with their mother’s passing. The widowed father, a therapist, has an encounter with a patient who leaves behind an evil presence. The daughters, high school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are tortured by this vicious entity in their home.

Transformers Rise Of The Beasts
After five years, the sequel to 2018’s ‘Bumblebee’ finally makes its way to theatres. It is the second installment of the prequels series in the Transformers Film Franchise and the seventh film overall. Positioned in 1994, a team of transformers known as the Maximals unite forces with the Autobots. Led by Optimus Prime, and with the help of humans, they are in the fight for Earth’s safety against the planet-killer Unicron.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Filmmaker James Mangold takes the reigns for the fifth and final installment in the Indiana Jones film series starring Harrison Ford. Set in two time periods, the film finds the archaeology professor on the verge of retiring from the university. Helena, his goddaughter, pushes him to retrieve a mysterious object known as the Dial of Destiny. When it is stolen, Indiana Jones races against time to recover the fabled artifact that has the power to change the course of history.

I’m a Virgo
Amazon Prime Video’s latest offering, ‘I’m a Virgo,’ comes from the creative minds behind ‘Sorry to Bother You.’ The show follows the ‘When They See Us’ and ‘Moonlight’ star Jharrel Jerome as Cootie, a 13-foot-tall black man. He is an outgoing guy who loves adventures and causes damage to his family home as he only grows taller with age. The series sees Cootie try to protect him from those that might want to exploit him.

This new ‘The Walking Dead’ spin-off series follows Maggie and Negan, who head to post-apocalyptic Manhattan. With the borough being infested with the dead, it can very well be a bumpy ride for the two of them to navigate an apocalyptic society in Manhattan.
