Cloonee’s Debut Album Asks A Simple Question: ‘Are You Still You?’

The Hellbent Records founder’s long-awaited first full-length project arrives on October 6, 2026.

After fourteen years spent evolving into one of contemporary house music’s most recognizable artists, Cloonee has announced his long-awaited debut album, ‘Are You Still You?’ (stylized as AYSY?). Arriving on October 6 via Good Music For Bad People / Hellbent Records, the sixteen-track project represents what Cloonee has carefully built over the years. ‘AYSY?’ feels like a reflection of everything that has come before it. Over the course of fourteen years, Cloonee has moved through different phases of his career, continually refining his approach to house music while building a distinct identity that has taken him from the UK to the global stage.

At the heart of the album is a question that has followed Cloonee throughout his creative evolution: Are You Still You? A question of identity, growth and change. What it essentially does is ask whether, through all the movement, success and transformation that comes with a life in music, the person who started the journey is still present underneath it all.

The announcement follows another landmark moment in Cloonee’s remarkable ascent. Fresh from the release of the album’s first single, his latest collaboration with Prospa and Tristan Henry, ‘Good Girl,’ which raced to Beatport’s coveted #1 spot within days and has already surpassed 3.5 million streams, Cloonee enters this new chapter following the most defining run of his career to date. Over the past twelve months alone, he has delivered a string of standout releases, including ‘Free Your Mind’ (with Prospa), ‘I Rhyme Quick,’ ‘One Question,’ ‘XTC,’ ‘How Deep Are Your Dreams?’ and ‘Not Gonna Be Your Boo,’ showcasing the continued evolution of his sound.

Reflecting on the meaning behind the album, Cloonee says: “One comment I’ve seen throughout my career is, “bring back the old Cloonee.” The funny thing, though, is there’s an equal amount of people that ask for a different Cloonee, this Cloonee & that Cloonee. Plus, let’s not forget the current Cloonee. I’ve always taken these comments as a compliment. It’s part of career longevity to move with the times and to connect & grow with people at many different phases of your journey.

With this album, I want to give you every Cloonee. An ode to myself. The old me, the current me, the new me and everything in between. Because, when I ask myself, “are you still you?”… the answer is a proud yes.”

Spanning sixteen tracks, ‘AYSY?’ marks the first time the UK-born, LA-based DJ, producer and label boss has brought the full breadth of his artistic identity together across one cohesive project. Describing the album as “an ode to myself,” ‘AYSY?’ represents a more complete portrait of Cloonee as an artist. It is a look back at the foundations he built, a statement of where he stands today, and a glimpse into the future he is creating for himself, condensed into sixteen exhibits.
