Veteran German duo Booka Shade reveals the second installment of their ‘Booka Shade Reworked’ package to mark their 20th Anniversary.
With their ability to weave across styles and genres, Booka Shade has earned their reputation as one of the most celebrated dance music acts to emerge from Europe. Incorporating pop, ambient, electro, techno, and funk influences into their forward-thinking output, the German duo have delivered dozens of EPs and 11 studio albums.
After two decades of releasing transcending music and becoming more than a household name in the dance scene, Booka Shade has released the second installment of their ‘Booka Shade Reworked’ package to mark their 20th Anniversary, with Blaufield Music signee 8Kays returning to remix their iconic track ‘In White Rooms.’
Stacked with some of the most prodigious names of the scene, the ‘Reworked’ package is a project that sees the world-renowned duo celebrate the past while looking towards the future. Inviting a host of exciting and emerging talent to remix signature records from their illustrious career, the second installment in the series sees the Blaufield Music bosses welcome back Ukraine’s 8Kays to the label.
Building on their already established history and friendship, with 8Kays’ track ‘Rainbow’ proving to be one of the label’s biggest tracks of 2019 to 2020, her remix of their renowned single ‘In White Rooms’ is now finally released, having featured as a highlight of her sets across the globe during the past nine months.
