DJ and producer Mersiv, known for his unique brand of dubstep with melodic textures, has set his sights on Skydeck on Broadway in Nashville on September 2, 2023. Louisiana-born multi-dimensional artist Anderson Benoit Gallegos, best known under his stage name Mersiv, has infamously dubbed his style of music ‘Pretty Dark Loud.’ The electronic artist’s stop in Nashville comes as part of his ‘Out of Bounds Tour,’ which commences a day before in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and currently has dates listed until December 2023. Mersiv has a fantastic line-up of talented performers joining him on tour, including Wreckno, Deadcrow, Tripp St., Ujuu, and Molokai, to name a few.
Describing his live sets with 303magazine, Mersiv said, “My end goal is that, with my sets and the music that you listen to, I don’t want you to worry about the past or the future. I want you to be really sucked into this moment. I feel like that’s something you do through meditation as you try and experience what the now is, you know? Cause that’s all that exists. That’s what I try to do with my music.”
The gig in Nashville will see the Mersiv hit the stage at the 1,600-capacity performance and event venue, Skydeck on Broadway. He will be joined by bass-head Christian ‘Minnesota’ Bauhofer, music producer Tape B, musicians Evan Cazes aka Evaluation, and Elah. Acts Evaluation and Minnesota flank Mersiv on multiple dates on the tour.
The early bird tickets for the show have already been sold out. However, tier-one tickets are now available for purchase. VIP tickets for the mezzanine level can also be bought for the concert.
