Brace yourselves to laugh until your stomach hurts and dance to your heart’s desire for five days from February 19 – 23 at VUWSA O-Week’s “biggest party yet!” VUWSA O-Week 2024 features toga night, comedy night, drum & bass night, band night, and hip-hop night. Victoria University will open its doors to Pendulum (DJ Set), Savage, Lime Cordiale, Shouse, Chris Parker, and more who are on the bill at The Hub, Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, for the five-day event. Established in 1899, VUWSA (Victoria University of Wellington Students’ Association) is the official student association of Victoria University in Wellington. Australian-New Zealand electronic music duo Shouse, Kiwi DJ/producer and songwriter known for her trap/future bass Lauren Gin, and Auckland and Wellington dubstep, heavy bass, and bass house DJ Edenna are on the artist card on February 19 for VUWSA Toga Night.

New Zealand comedian, actor, and writer Chris Parker, known for his appearances in local comedy shows ‘7 Days,’ ‘Taskmaster NZ,’ and ‘Jono and Ben’ is all set to take the O-Week 2024 stage on February 20 (Day 2). Comedian Guy Montgomery – the winner of the Fred Award (2023) and Billy T Award (2014), and comedy pop music duo Two Hearts are also on the line-up.
Australian electronic band Pendulum will grace The Hub stage for their DJ set with Australian DJ/producer ShockOne, Andromedik, and drum & bass artist Worthy, who has supported big acts like Bru-C and has played at the hottest festivals in New Zealand, will get behind the deck on February 21 (Day 3) for Drum N’ Bass Night.
February 22 is band night and it will see fiery performances from Australian pop rock group Lime Cordiale, Australian-New Zealand outfit Coterie, and Wellington-based indie rock artist Sofia Machray. Celebrated New Zealand rapper Savage, DJ Sir-Vere, and Champagne Bobbi have been tapped for Hip-Hop Night on February 23.
