German-born DJ Patrice Bäumel is heading to Mexico later this month! He will stop by the Papaya Playa Project in Tulum on March 23, alongside supporting acts Rosano and Ukiyo. Bäumel will later perform at Playa Majahuitas in Puerto Vallarta on March 30 with Yulia Niko and Liam Fitzgerald. Papaya Playa Project invites you to The Full Moon with Patrice Bäumel on Saturday, March 23, for ‘The Full Moon’ festivities. Prepare yourself to dance under the beautiful sky as the moonlight touches your skin, and enjoy the amazing things life has to offer at the magnificent venue.
Patrice Bäumel has had releases on renowned labels like Above & Beyond’s Anjunadeep, Cologne-based electronic music independent record label Kompakt, Berlin-based record label Get Physical, and Afterlife -a label founded by the Italian DJ/producer duo Tale Of Us. The Portugal-based DJ has played in Milan, Barcelona, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and The Steel Yard in London in 2024 alone. He has shared the stage with the likes of Argentine DJ Hernán Cattáneo and Welsh DJ/producer Sasha. Bäumel has had a distinct journey in the techno world. Prepare yourselves to be entranced by his electrifying set!
Papaya Playa Project resident DJ Rosano is also on the bill. He has made audiences groove to house and techno and has shared stages with big names including Los Angeles-based DJ/producer and musician Bonobo, Moodymann, Irish electronic music producer/DJ Mano Le Tough, and Guy Gerber. Rosano has made appearances at some of the hottest clubs and venues in Spain, Germany, and Mexico.
The final act to offer an eclectic set for the show on March 23 is Ukiyo, a music project by Francesca and Melissa. They “mix downtempo & mid-tempo shadows of electronic and house music with cultural and folkloric rhythms from all over the world” as per their Soundcloud.
Bäumel’s next halt in Mexico takes him to Puerto Vallarta’s Playa Majahuitas on March 30. To join the headliner amidst the tropical landscape of Majahuitas, Berlin-based DJ/composer Yulia Niko joins the card on the back of her latest release ‘Love The Rain Days.’ Liam Fitzgerald rounds out the line-up for this show.
