Bzars Reels in a Host of Artists on New Single, ‘Monalisa’

Mexican house and techno music producer Bzars loops in reggaeton connoisseur Jowell, singer/rapper Luciana, and producer Marcos Jungle on the new EDM track ‘Monalisa.’

Mexican DJ Bzars stamps his resume with yet another foot-tapping and body-shaking dance number with ‘Monalisa,’ his fourth release this year following ‘Humans,’ ‘Tall White,’ and ‘Quema.’ This time, the party starter welcomes selector Marcos Jungle and Jowell (one-half of the reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy) as collaborators, with Luciana lending her slick vocals to the track.

Splattered on this audio canvas is a melange of house, tech-house, reggaeton, moombahton, and dance-pop, formulating an intense dance beat. Lauded as ‘Queen of Electro,’ Luciana’s sultry vocal segments infuse a flashy touch to the catchy beat, energizing the groove and funk on the melody.

In a futuristic touch, contrasting Leonardo da Vinci’s sfumato painting fashion in his Mona Lisa portrait, the artwork designed shows Mona Lisa layered with neon pink, green, and blue hues sprawled all over the image with a pink band across the eyes.

Speaking about the track, Bzars shared on social media, “Proud to take another step in my career as a music producer and DJ, now I bring you a Latin Tech collaboration with the legend Jowell, the Queen Luciana, and the genius Marcos Jungle.”

Meanwhile, Mexican DJ Marcos Jungle regarded this collaborative effort as one of his greatest professional achievements to date. “My first HYPE song with Jowell, Luciana, and Bzars, I’m a fan of Jowell and Randy since I heard “No te veo” and now that I have a song with him. I’m speechless,” he shared on Instagram.
