Canadian electronic music producer Sickick, known for etching exceptional auditory escapes, has dropped a sauntered house track with ‘If The World Was Ending.’
Recognized by his signature Darth Vader-esque mask and hoodie, producer, vocalist, and songwriter Sickick’s new EDM tune looks set to dominate nightclubs and sundown sessions worldwide with its palpable energy and tantalizing rhythms.
Toronto-born singer-producer Sickick conceived ‘If The World Was Ending’ in 2023, arising from a collaboration with his fans or Sickick Army online, hyping an “EDM anthem-like song that sounded like it was the last party on earth.” The seasoned beatmaker further took onlookers through his songwriting strategy, cutting through shots of him, humming the harmony, performing vocals, adding bits of the piano, clappers, etc.
Officially released on November 22, the music gives off doses of electronica, messed-with house, electro, and booming bass pulsations caressed by a pinch of auto-tuned vocals. Its music video, courtesy of designer/author A. R. LYON in a directorial debut, depicts the hooded Sickick floating around the cosmos, carrying his euphoric energy and darting toward a scorched earth before finally making a superhero landing.

Sickick’s latest musical endeavor arrives on the back of a string of well-received remixes, tapping into the likes of Madonna (‘Frozen‘), late rapper DMX (‘Long Live X‘), Justin Bieber (‘Peaches x Whats Luv‘), Ed Sheeran (‘Shape Of You‘), Post Malone and Mark Morrison (‘Cooped Up / Return Of The Mack‘) – which amassed over 110 million streams on Spotify.
