South Korean DJ/producer Peggy Gou is getting ready to perform at the Drumsheds next month for Netflix’s SQUID GAME 2: THE RAVE.
Netflix will be hosting a massive gig at the prestigious Drumsheds in the UK on December 18, 2024. This free party called the ‘SQUID GAME 2: THE RAVE’ will be a celebratory launch of the video streaming platform’s hit series ‘Squid Game.’ The show, which hit Netflix in 2021, became one of the most popular series of all time on the platform. It saw much success and became the first non-English-language series to receive an Outstanding Drama Series at the Primetime Emmys nod.
The second season of ‘Squid Game’ is due to be released on December 26, 2024, on Netflix. Ahead of the show’s premiere, the streaming giant is throwing a party to celebrate the new season’s arrival. Peggy Gou will tap in to play at the live music event titled ‘SQUID GAME 2: THE RAVE’ in the UK.
“London! Very excited for this. See you on 18th December at Drumsheds for Squid Game 2: The Rave! #Ad,” Peggy announced her appearance at the Netflix gig via Instagram.
The Incheon-born star has played at the hottest clubs, venues, and music festivals around the world. Peggy kicked off the year at the Beyond The Valley Festival in Australia and has had shows in Brazil, London, Italy, Mexico, Argentina, Zurich, and more, gracing the Ultra Miami, Coachella, and Glastonbury stages. Gou was nominated for the International Song of the Year at the BRIT Awards 2024 for her track (It Goes Like) Nanana.’ The South Korean dance music heavyweight also released a ten-track record titled ‘I Hear You’ in June this year. The Bonus Tracks Edition of her latest album was rolled out in September.
