London-based DJ/producer, vocalist, and classically trained viola player, Lu.Re ships her brand of UK garage, bassline, and vocal-led dancefloor weapons to Australia and New Zealand this October for a multi-city tour.
Her debut run in the region kicks off in Christchurch, New Zealand, before heading to cities Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, and Sydney in Australia.
Named Radio 1’s “Future Star of 2025,” Lu.Re jets out to AUNZ off the back of her recently released late-90s-tinged UKG track ‘Draw a Line‘ and a standout string of appearances this year.
In 2025 alone, she’s brought her sound to ravers at Capital Dance Live in Ibiza, Boomtown, Boardmasters, and Glastonbury (B2B with Jaguar).
With her Australia and New Zealand debut just around the corner we caught up with the unstoppable Lu.Re to get the lowdown on what she’s bringing to the dancefloor.
TFword: You’ve had a massive year thus far. How does it feel to now bring your sound to Australia and New Zealand for the first time?
Lu.Re: It feels mad, in the best way. Everything I’ve built has been very DIY, coming up from the UK underground, from long nights in my flat making tunes and recording my vocals, to working my way up to shows at places like Glastonbury and Ibiza. So, to now take that sound across the world is surreal. What’s sick is that people out here already get it – cities in AUS and NZ are some of my biggest listeners, and I see lots of the garage, house, and bass energy that’s shaping my sound popping off over here, so it feels like the next step I’ve been leading up to.
TFword: What can fans expect from your set in Auckland? Anything special lined up for this stop?
Lu.Re: High energy, bass-driven, and full of groove. My sets move through four to the floor garage, breaks, and darker rave sounds, an emotional edge, and maybe some curve balls. I’ve got a load of exclusives from my forthcoming ‘Draw A Line’ EP on Fabric and new dubs I’ve made especially. Expect nods to vocals and sounds you know, and others that hopefully will hit first time. That’s the ballpark anyway, but I’ll play to the crowd, so I’ll feed off what everyone’s enjoying.

TFword: Outside of the shows, is there anything you’re hoping to see or do while in New Zealand?
Lu.Re: I’m really excited to spend time in between shows in nature and by the sea. It’s my first time over here, so I want to get stuck in. I’ve got a couple of days in Queenstown to explore and a few days around the north island in between NZ shows and Aus. Plus a bit of chill to be honest – I’m looking forward to working on new music with some nice views! Studio with a view!
TFword: Anything else you’d like us to highlight about your concerts in New Zealand?
Lu.Re: I’d just want to say big love to the promoters for pushing the scenes forward out there! The other acts on the lineup look wicked too, so I’m really looking forward to their sets as well, and I can’t wait to meet people there!
