Brazil-born Joyce Muniz, who started her career in Vienna’s Flex club as a DJ and MC, will be on her way to Mexico this November to showcase her skills at Papaya Playa Project. After taking charge of venues in Cologne, Lisbon, and Bali, she will be heading to Mexico City before her headlining set in Tulum. Muniz also has shows lined up in Oaxaca, Vienna, Zürich, São Paulo, and Canoa Quebrada in Brazil. Apart from her DJ and MCing skills, Joyce is renowned as a vocalist and for touring with Major Lazer.
Next up on the bill is Pabels, a Buenos Aires-based DJ and curator. He offers a blend of genres, including house, disco, soul, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and Balearic. Pables has also founded BONAIRE – ‘Asamblea Hedonista,’ where house and disco resound across venues in Argentina and LINEA-CALIENTE. He concludes the Mexico leg of his tour in Tulum at the forthcoming show. Pabels will be performing on the Mareh Festival stage and Portal de Algodões in Brazil after this gig.
Cordoba, Argentina-born multidisciplinary artist, DJ/producer, and artist Awa completes the line-up. She has founded La Dimension Felina and La Maquino Del Ritmo, offering house, groove, alternative dance and more. Awa also has shows scheduled for venues across Mexico and Argentina in the coming weeks.
